Motivational Speech to Self.
Iām putting my spirit and body to wash. These are my daily reminders that push me to āsmell good in God presenceā¦ -Kierra Sheardās Uncle JohnāĀ š·Ā hehehe I love this phrase. You canāt seek God with an unclean stench on you. Approach Him with the smell of freshness.
This is a pep talk I normally give myself when I'm having troubles in my day. Everyday is not going to be perfect a day; so, its good to refresh.
This battle is not yours but Godās. Put down your hand, remove yourself from your flesh, and use your spirit to serve God. Take no excessive pride in what your hands create because it was not you alone that accomplished it. God is the creator of all and knows all. Stop being prideful and saying āI did itā. It was not you alone, there is someone behind you moving in your favor.Ā Vanity put it aside. Your human fleshly desires want to be seen, to be rewarded, and liked. Put it aside, give thanks to God for giving you that chance, talent, blessing, etc. Fleshly desires of being beautiful, over knowledgeable, abundant with material things, controlling, etc. God created you with awesomeness. Let God order your footsteps. Let Him lead you on your path. Youāre going in circles in your life because you are putting your hand in trying to fix things. Take out your hand and remove it.
Rise early in the morning like David and pray. Pray for God to be in everything you do in your day. āIf God aināt in itā¦ I donāt want it attitude!ā If itās unclean donāt touch it. If the thoughts in your mind are unclean, rebuke your flesh. You are in control! God gave you power over all evil on this earth. Thatās why the enemy is angry. He knows if you found out you have power, you will be untouchable. King Jesus will not allow any of His people to be touched or affected. Stand your ground and protect your soul and spirit. (Spirit and body ā is your temple God gave to youā¦ your vessel) If you donāt, who will?Ā Circumcise your Spirit. Rebuke all evil!
I call these ātalk-upsā, they push me to be clear of distractions of the world and focus.
What are some cool tips to help others with keeping their spirit and temple clean from all evil and uncleanliness?
