My Coloring Book Revelation

"But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

John 4:14

I was coloring in my color book with my daughter and realized something about Chip and his mom Mrs. Pots. My mind always wanders but stays in meditation on God and His Word. I couldn't help, but notice and see the message between the lines. Look closely...

Notice that Chip is cracked and not perfect. But, despite this, his Mom always fills him up. Always caring and loving him without regard. We are all human, even our children. There is no such thing as "the perfect child". This is the love of a parent. Much like the love we get from God.

In turn, he uses the love exemplified by his Mom to fill others. So, they may drink and be filled with love as well. Whatever you fill your child with, they will hold and pass on to others. With that, fill them with love, kindness, and soundness. To bring their generation fruitfulness and blessings.

Isn't this just an awesome message? Man, I meditated on this after receiving it. I'm so glad that God teaches us lessons through many things, even the simplest.

Be blessed and remember to give light to our young ones so that they may spread it to others.
