It’s ok to Cry 😢

Updated: Aug 13, 2019

Is something over whelming you today? Did you want something to go a certain why today, but it didn't? Sometimes I wish I could erase parts of the day. Do you feel like this sometimes? Well, we all make mistakes and we aren't perfect. Mistakes help us build into a better person. Today we will read together about Repentance/To repent.

Repent and God will forgive. There is no trouble that God can’t pull you out of. There is no man on this earth that God does not love. Love is so much more than you think. Repenting — Being sincerely sorry for your disobedience towards God. Being disobedient is something we all struggle with. There is no perfect person in this world. And, no man can judge another. God is the judge.

Matthew 7:1-5 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged.” “Matthew 7 | Bible.is.” Bible.is Online, Good News Publishers and Crossway Bibles, 2001, listen.bible.is/ENGESV/Matt/7.

Men who judge practice against God. Repenting isn’t hard unless you make it. Take time to yourself to reflect. Grab a secret spot where there is just you and God. (I often used my commute to work) Be silent for the first few minutes. Think only about God and His glory. Then begin to thank God. After, tell Him your issues. Be sorrowful for doing wrong. Ask God to help and Guide you. Now say, “Please in Jesus name. Amen.” Was that hard? No, not at all. Repenting will give you a fresh and cleansing feeling. There is nothing like the feeling of a weight being lifted off of your shoulders.

Crying is healthy and refreshing. Your tears falling down and go straight to God. God who hears, lives and Is. It’s okay to fall but, you have to rise again. You have the strength to get up and I know you do. God has given us all strength to overcome. You have power over what you allow into your temple (soul and spirit). You have a choice given to you by God. Repent and let your tears flow. Be sorry.

How do you feel now that you have told God you’re sorry?

My answer:

I feel relieved and empowered to be a better me. I feel a new and fresh beginning.

My favorite scripture is:

Matthew 7:3

“Pull the speck of sawdust out of your own eye before you try to pull the plank from others.”

“Matthew 7 | Bible.is.” Bible.is Online, Good News Publishers and Crossway Bibles, 2001, listen.bible.is/ENGESV/Matt/7.

Who am I. I have to correct my own errors before I can fix my mouth on other’s wrongdoing. I have to stay focused. To keep on the right path. I can do it! I can be a better me in Jesus Name!!! Amen!! 😫🙌🏽❤️👏🏽

Scripture Guide

Matthew 7:1-5

“1 Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. 3 Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

Psalm 7:8

“The LORD judges the peoples; judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness and according to the integrity that is in me.”

Psalm 96:13

“before the LORD, for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness, and the peoples in his faithfulness.”

Psalm 7:8

“The LORD judges the peoples; judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness and according to the integrity that is in me.”

John 3:17

“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”

Leviticus 19:15

“ ‘Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly.”

Ephesians 4:29

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”
