Let's Make Soap

Cute soap activity for kids ages 10 yrs and up.

Expressing the importance of washing hands during this time can be boring and repetitive for kids. Make it fun by creating crafts and activities that are age-appropriate.

We used a kit from Diaso, it's basically a dollar store here in Japan. The whole kit was only 100 yen. It had all the ingredients and tools except a cup. We safely followed the rules and directions closely when we made the tiny soaps. What's cool is that they are basically a clean canvas. You can add food coloring or cool colors, stickers, objects/toys, glitter, etc.

My daughter really had fun making this. She loved the one that she stuck her toy in. She came over to me exclaiming that it came out when we finally used it enough.

We will most definitely do this craft again together someday. Please stay healthy and keep your hand clean. Remember to wear your mask in public and eat lots of healthy foods.
