Cool Bible Study App for Kids

Today I want to tell you how much fun we have using Bible App for Kids. It's a super great way to make a simple fun study day with your little one. I will tell you have I use this app to make a super fun, fast, and simple day of fun with this app.

How I built my short lesson plan around this app... The lesson takes 25-30 mins for us to finish, taking our time. It's great if you are pressed on time, but want to create more fun time in your schedule. Here is an outline of the lesson.

Quick Bible Lessons

Time: 25-30mins

Material: App, Snack, and Crafts (Your Choice)

  • Read

  • Activity

  • Create a Snack

  • Arts and Crafts Time

Read

Click on which topic you what to read about. Download the story and read. Have your little one read or follow along with the guided reader. In the app, they have rewards they can collect called "Gems" that give them pieces of guidance from important verses. The app asks them questions during the story to keep their focus on comprehension. They get stars for completion and can move on to the Activity.

Activity

For the activities, they have matching games, sticker pictures, coloring pages, or "Story Mixup". The story you choose will have one of these games. When they complete the matching games and "Story Mixup" the app gives them confetti. How cute!

Create a Snack

Have your little one create a snack inspired by the story you just read. I get great ideas from Pinterest or you can make your own. For example, for the Noahs Ark, you can have animal crackers on a banana. Or, for Creation, you can make cloud jello. Be creative and let your little one do the work.

These are snack we made:

Arts and Crafts Time

Make a craft inspired by the story you read. I look to Pinterest for this activity, as well. It's absolutely okay to be creative and create your own craft though. Pinterest is a blessing from God. People post all this great content and information and it free. I know, I know. An example of craft time is... If your learning about Abrahams Promise you can have your little one draw or paint a picture of the stars at night. Or, for Jesus's Birth, you can make a nativity set. There is no limit on what you can do.

This is our wall of art. I haven't made a title yet but, I think the lessons are more important than that. Amen.
